Job summary

KemperSports is seeking a Corporate Controller to lead the enterprise accounting, payroll and controllership organization across multiple states and entities. You will drive accurate financial reporting, internal control development and scalable processes in a large hospitality-focused environment.

The role requires senior accounting leadership, experience with multi-entity consolidation, and a track record of transforming finance operations through technology and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience with leadership responsibility.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience leading complex, multi-entity accounting and consolidation environments.
• Experience overseeing large-scale, multi-state payroll operations and payroll controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead the corporate accounting organization including general accounting, financial reporting, consolidation, AP, AR, payroll accounting and fixed assets.
• Own monthly, quarterly and annual close and consolidation processes with focus on accuracy and timeliness.
• Establish accounting policies and balance-sheet governance; manage external audits.
• Oversee payroll operations for 10,000+ employees across 44 states; ensure controls and compliance.
• Transform accounting through technology, automation and process improvement.
