Job summary

Randstad USA seeks a Corporate Controller to lead our accounting organization in a high-impact, private-equity backed setting. You will be the US GAAP expert, driving modernization, scale, and strong internal controls while partnering with executive leadership on growth strategies.

The role requires a CPA and 10+ years of leadership in manufacturing or distribution accounting, with hands-on ERP experience and a track record as a change agent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA certification required.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience in manufacturing or distribution.
• Proven change agent—experienced in modernizing accounting operations.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of US GAAP, consolidations, and internal controls.
• Capital markets experience (IPO readiness, debt offerings, or SEC reporting) is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with modern ERPs (NetSuite, Sage Intacct) and contemporary reporting tools.
• Exceptional communication skills with cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Oversee corporate financial reporting, ensuring GAAP compliance and audit readiness.
• Mentor and elevate an accounting team of 12 professionals.
• Modernize GL structure, close processes, and ERP systems for speed and accuracy.
• Lead special projects including transaction accounting, acquisition integration, and capital structure expansion.
• Develop scalable accounting policies and robust internal controls.
• Serve as primary contact for external auditors.
• Partner with FP&A, Treasury, and executive leadership on analyses and growth decisions.
