Job summary

Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament in Irving, TX seeks a Corporate Controller to lead accounting operations and consolidated financial reporting. The role partners with the CFO and a senior finance manager to implement financial plans, policies and strong internal controls.

Responsibilities include budgeting, rolling forecasts, month-end close, and coordinating with external auditors. The successful candidate will have 5–8 years of US GAAP experience and a CPA is preferred.

Qualifications

• BA in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred.
• 5–8 years of financial reporting under US GAAP; budgeting experience.
• Knowledge of federal/state tax regs; Big 4 collaboration experience.
• Strong planning, forecasting, problem solving and analytics.
• ERP experience with NAV; proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting.
• Coordinate consolidated monthly statements and analyses.
• Manage year-end audit with Big 4 firm and CFO liaison.
• Develop budgets, forecasts and internal control improvements.
• Collaborate with executives and castle managers on financial matters.
