Qualifications

• 6-8 years of proven experience in communications in corporate or agency settings.
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, business, or equivalent.
• Ability to execute communications plans and manage multiple projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proofreading before publishing.
• Strong organizational and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Adobe is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Corporate Communication Manager in developing strategic communications for internal campaigns and programs.
• Craft messaging and strategic programs to advance business objectives and coordinate with designers.
• Schedule content across internal platforms, including FirstUp and intranet.
• Analyze data from employee communications app and provide recommendations to increase readership and engagement.
• Champion a strong corporate culture by integrating values into communications and connecting global workforce to the mission.
• Assist in updating web and intranet content related to Communications.
• Coordinate external publications such as the annual report, proxy, and sustainability report.
• Support media relations by writing press releases and coordinating interviews.
• Maintain media archives and editorial calendar updates for cross-functional teams.
• Assist with tradeshow communications and post-event media coverage analysis.
• Draft social media content and monitor Weatherford’s networks with the Digital Media Specialist.
• Maintain press room content and assist site design expansion to support strategy.
