Job summary

Claritev in McLean, Virginia seeks a Corporate Accounting Manager to lead the accounting staff and oversee the full close cycle, including monthly journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. This role ensures GAAP compliance and strong internal controls within a dynamic corporate environment.

You will partner with auditors, IT, and project teams on future-state consolidations, while driving process improvements and maintaining rigorous financial reporting and analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• 4+ years accounting experience including 2 years in a leadership role.
• CPA certification is required/preferred.
• Experience in corporate accounting record to report with international operations.
• Managerial experience.
• SAP system experience (S4 Hana preferred).
• Strong organization, analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Record transactions in conformity with US GAAP and internal controls.
• Manage record-to-report activities including accruals and software accounting.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting analysis for complex areas.
• Coordinate with external auditors as part of routine activities.
• Partner with Accounting Systems, technology, and project teams for consolidations.
• Ensure transactions are recorded in compliance with US GAAP with the Technical Accounting Group.
• Support revenue accounting with reconciliations and analyses.
• Identify and implement process and system improvements.
• Prepare and present accurate, timely financial reports and analyses.
• Collaborate across disciplines and departments.
• Ensure compliance with SOX and HIPAA controls and requirements.
• Demonstrate commitment to the Company's core values.
