Job summary

Affinity Gaming in Las Vegas is seeking an experienced accounting professional to oversee quarterly Bank Compliance activities, advise staff on non-routine reporting, and develop new procedures that improve the department's workflow.

You will provide GAAP guidance to all entities, assist with monthly, quarterly and annual closings, coordinate audits, and help implement the ASC 842 reporting and other standards while supporting the finance transformation roadmap.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required.
• CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs quarterly Bank Compliance activities in a timely and accurate manner.
• Advises staff regarding non-routine reporting transactions.
• Develops and implements new procedures to enhance department workflow.
• Supports the finance transformation roadmap with special projects and workflow improvements.
• Provides GAAP guidance and support to all company entities; may participate in acquisitions/dispositions.
• Assists with monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements preparation.
