Job summary

Versant Media seeks a Senior Director, Accounting — TV Networks to lead the controllership and financial reporting for its Sports and Entertainment Networks portfolio. This role partners with Corporate Controllership, FP&A, Tax, Legal, and Technology to build scalable accounting processes and strong governance as the company transitions to independence.

Qualifications

• CPA required.
• Public accounting experience or experience in a publicly traded company preferred.
• 12 years of progressive accounting and controllership experience with leadership responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead controllership and financial reporting for Sports and Entertainment Networks.
• Oversee month-end close, balance sheet governance, and external reporting support.
• Provide guidance on accounting implications for new business initiatives and contracts.
• Drive process transformation, automation, and ERP modernization.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing accounting team.
