Opus Capital Markets Consultants is seeking a seasoned Controller & Treasury leader to oversee all accounting, treasury, and financial reporting functions in Houston. This executive role partners with the CFO and the leadership team to optimize cash flow and strengthen internal controls.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in corporate accounting and treasury, CPA preferred, and a track record of building high-performing teams in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance; CPA preferred.
• Experience leading accounting, treasury and financial reporting functions.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting operations for the organization and manage month/quarter/year closes.
• Oversee treasury, cash flow forecasting, banking relations, and liquidity management.
• Develop and maintain internal controls; ensure GAAP compliance and support audits.
• Partner with CFO on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic capital decisions.
• Mentor and develop the finance team and drive automation of processes.
