3D Glass Solutions, Inc- in Albuquerque, NM seeks an experienced Controller to lead the accounting function and own the integrity of financial reporting. Reporting to the CFO, the Controller will manage the team, oversee close and reporting, and drive internal controls as the company scales.

The role requires deep GAAP expertise, 8–10+ years of progressive accounting experience, CPA, and strong leadership to partner with treasury, legal, and the board.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
• 8–10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years managing a team.
• Deep GAAP expertise and experience with complex transactions.
• Experience designing internal control environments and SOX readiness.
• Hands-on QuickBooks and ERP/system migration experience.
• Experience supporting fundraising, board reporting, or investor due diligence.
• Strong executive presence and communication with CFO, board, and investors.

Responsabilidades

• Own accounting function and financial reporting strategy; delegate close to Accounting Manager.
• Build and lead accounting organization; scale the team as the company grows.
• Set technical accounting policy for revenue, inventory, and capitalization vs expensing.
• Design internal control framework and risk management for future growth and IPO readiness.
• Lead technical accounting research and position papers on complex transactions.
• Own external audit relationships; negotiate scope and fees with auditors.
• Partner with CFO on capital strategy, fundraising due diligence, and investor reporting.
• Oversee tax strategy with external advisors, including R&D credits and multi-state nexus.
• Lead ERP implementation or system conversion as needed.
• Develop financial reporting packages, KPIs, and technical memos for executives and investors.
• Assess accounting implications of strategic transactions including M&A and international expansion.
• Establish delegation-of-authority policies across the organization.
