Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing (CFS) partners with a growing $30M digital media organization in Waltham, MA to hire a hands-on Controller who will lead accounting and financial operations.

This high-visibility role owns month-end close, reporting, budgeting, and HR-related tasks, with a hybrid schedule of four days on-site. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in accounting or finance and NetSuite experience, and can partner with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Must have NetSuite experience.
• Strong accounting and financial reporting background.
• Experience in a Controller/Accounting leadership role.
• Experience with payroll/HR administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own general accounting including month-end close and financial reporting.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and analyses.
• Maintain internal controls and audit coordination.
• Oversee payroll, benefits, and retirement plan administration.
• Lead HR admin tasks and onboarding/offboarding.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on financial planning and process improvements.
