The role combines hands-on accounting with strategic oversight, requiring 5+ years in accounting and 2+ years in leadership. Prior restaurant/FOH-FOB experience is highly valued as you build scalable controls.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting or related experience.
• 2+ years of demonstrated leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn complex information into useful insights.
• Experience working with financial and operational KPIs, budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively with both financial and non-financial leaders.
• Strong computer and software skills; experience with QuickBooks and Excel is important, and familiarity with Paylocity and Asana is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end close process, including reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and preparation of financial statements.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial results for accuracy, completeness, and meaningful trends.
• Develop financial reporting and analysis at both the company and individual location level.
• Identify variances, risks, and opportunities and translate financial data into clear, actionable information for leadership.
• Manage cash flow reporting and forecasting and provide visibility into anticipated cash needs and financial obligations.
• Oversee accounting for inventory, cost of goods sold, labor, fixed assets, and other areas specific to a multi-unit food and beverage business.
• Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including approvals, collections, processes, and financial controls.
