Job summary

Superior Air Parts seeks an on-site Controller in Coppell, TX to lead financial operations, accounting, payroll, and HR functions. Reporting to the CEO, this role blends hands-on execution with strategic leadership to ensure robust internal controls and cost accounting.

The position requires 10+ years in accounting (5+ in management), cost accounting in manufacturing, and CPA preferred. Dynamics 365 F&O experience is a plus with strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience (5+ years in management).
• Hands-on cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems.
• Background presenting financial data to executive leadership or lenders.

Responsibilities

• Financial & Cost Accounting: Direct close cycles (GAAP); manage standard costs, WIP, inventory valuation, and variance analysis.
• FP&A & Systems: Lead annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, CapEx ROI analysis, and core process owner for Dynamics 365 F&O.
• Compliance & HR: Manage multi-state tax compliance, coordinate external audits, oversee payroll, and guide HR policies.
