Job summary

Lifeline of Ohio, a federally designated organ procurement organization for central and southeastern Ohio, seeks a strategic Controller to lead the finance team and manage accounting operations. You will ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting, cost accounting, and regulatory compliance in a complex healthcare setting.

Collaborating with the CFO and executive leadership, you will drive close processes, budgeting, and continuous improvements to support mission delivery and donor stewardship.

Qualifications

• CPA required; Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years progressive accounting experience with 2+ years supervisory responsibility.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and nonprofit/healthcare financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close, financial statements, and grant/cost reporting with accuracy.
• Oversee accounting operations, internal controls, and process improvements.
• Forecast, budgeting, cash management, and collaboration with CFO and executives.
