Confluence Wealth Services, Inc. is seeking a Controller to oversee the firm’s accounting, financial reporting, and planning.

The role will tighten controls, provide reliable forecasts for growth and for acquisitions, and build a robust financial infrastructure as the company expands. The successful candidate will have a background in Accounting or Finance, a strong eye for detail, and the ability to adapt in a growing environment, while upholding the firm’s core values.

Qualifications

• The role requires a background and education in Accounting or Finance.
• Detail-oriented candidate who values accuracy and deadlines.
• Ability to adapt to change and improve processes without bureaucracy.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly close, reconciliations, and financial statements in QuickBooks.
• Oversee advisory fee billing, payroll, and accounts payable processes.
• Prepare the annual budget and a monthly management report for the President.
• Coordinate tax filings and audits with outside CPAs and banks.
• Improve accounting and finance processes and mitigate key-person risk.
• Maintain rolling revenue/expense/cash flow forecast driven by AUM and client growth.
• Build acquisition models and support due diligence and post-deal integration.
• Support regulatory requirements with the Chief Compliance Officer.
• Other duties as assigned.
