Job summary

The role requires a four-year degree and a minimum of four years’ experience in contracting and procurement, preferably in higher education. Strong leadership and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in a job-related field from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of four years of experience overseeing contracting and procurement processes for complex organization.
• Experience in Higher Education environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee contracting, procurement, and purchase order processes.
• Negotiate contracts and amendments; manage supplier relations.
• Mentor and supervise staff; set priorities and ensure timely completion.
• Review cost of ownership projections with Finance Director.
• Develop procurement policies and online purchasing platforms.
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and ethical sourcing.
• Coordinate with departments on requirements, specs, quantities, and delivery.
