Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field; see GS-07/09/11 requirements.
• Experience in contract administration or procurement is beneficial.
• Ability to work with electronic procurement systems and maintain organized files.

Responsibilities

• Assist contract administration offices in the administration of contracts, including performance of termination actions, until final delivery and payments are completed and the contract is closed.
• Review requests for the procurement of complex equipment, services, and/or construction.
• Negotiate contract modifications.
• Provides technical advice, guidance and training to junior contract specialists in the division.
