Job summary

Perdue Foods is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager 2 in Washington, Indiana to lead CI initiatives and elevate operational performance. You will champion the CI model, empower teams to solve complex challenges, and partner across functions to deliver measurable improvements in efficiency and process control.

The role requires 5–7 years of related experience, Lean Six Sigma expertise, and the ability to travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience.
• 5–7 years of related work experience.
• Advanced Project Management skills.
• Ability to travel 10% to support CI initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of LEAN principles, RCA, DMAIC, Six Sigma, TQM, TPM and SPC.
• Combination of business, interpersonal, technical, and analytical skills.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
• Partner across functions to deliver measurable results.
• Manage site improvement projects with plans and tracking.
• Deliver CI training courses and programs (LEAN, belts).
• Implement and coach MOS with KPI development and standard work.
• Facilitate Kaizen and 90‑day improvement events.
• Develop and implement plant communication plans for CI.
• Serve as SME for CI methodologies and daily process controls.
• Organize stakeholder meetings and report progress to leadership.
• Support shifts across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd with CI initiatives.
