The ideal candidate brings strong writing and storytelling, adaptability in tone for diverse audiences, and experience with AI-assisted content tools, SEO, and accessible content

Qualifications

• Experience composing professional content within communications, marketing, public affairs, journalism, or related fields.
• Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and storytelling abilities.
• Ability to adapt tone and messaging for varied audiences and platforms.
• Experience using AI-assisted content development and optimization tools.
• Familiarity with content strategy, brand messaging, and digital best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop long-form and short-form content for websites, campaigns, newsletters, and stakeholder communications.
• Translate complex policy or program information into clear, engaging content.
• Craft messaging aligned with objectives, brand standards, and audience needs.
• Create feature stories, executive communications, and thought leadership content.
• Support multimedia content creation (scripts, videos, podcasts, presentations).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce integrated communications products.
• Ensure tone, terminology, and brand voice consistency across channels.
• Apply SEO and structured content principles to optimize performance.
• Edit content for clarity, accuracy, grammar, and accessibility.
