Job summary

Rodriguez Construction Group seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead construction projects, ensuring adherence to design, budget, and schedule. The role requires strong leadership, coordination across teams, and effective client communication.

Ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, 3+ years in construction PM, and proficiency with MS Office and scheduling software. OSHA training is expected or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented team player with good organizational, communication, and other interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and scheduling software.
• Competency working with a wide range of technology, including computers, tablets, phones, and cloud-based software programs.
• Sound knowledge of safety standards and requirements.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 safety training, or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Drive production in the field and coordinate diverse settings to deliver infrastructure and products.
• Review the job estimate, identify long lead items, schedule, and run hand-off meetings.
• Manage and prepare for job meetings, review change orders with the client, and handle pay applications.
• Monitor job costs, ensure on-track profitability, and invoice through the accounting department.
• Work with the site manager or superintendent to manage financial and administrative needs.
• Determine equipment, materials, and manpower required, and track inventory.
• Ensure supplies and equipment are delivered per schedule.
• Lead meetings with staff and client representatives; negotiate contracts with vendors.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and construction codes.
• Delegate responsibilities and oversee site checks for progress and quality.
• Proactively manage submittal, RFI, and change control processes.
