Job summary

Amazon NA Design & Construction (D&C) Cost Management team seeks a Construction Cost Manager to oversee a portfolio of industrial projects in North America. You will drive cost certainty, validate financials, and report health to leaders and cross-functional partners.

You will execute end-to-end cost management, develop baselines, forecast costs, and lead cost variance analysis with a focus on automation and advanced analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in construction cost management, cost engineering, estimating, or quantity surveying.
• Proficiency with cost management software, scheduling tools, and advanced Excel.
• Experience using data analytics to identify trends and inform decisions.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end cost management functions across multiple projects (planning, control, forecasting, reporting).
• Maintain compliance with internal cost governance standards and approval workflows.
• Track and report cost performance metrics; implement cost baselines and WBS/COFD structures.
• Review change orders, validate costs, scope, and contractual terms; support contingency management and reporting.
