Job summary

Herzog Contracting Corp. in Havre de Grace, MD is seeking a qualified Construction Contracts Administrator to manage contract lifecycle for rail bridge projects.

You will negotiate terms with suppliers, prepare RFPs and contract documents, and coordinate closeouts and modifications. The role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication with varied audiences, and the ability to learn applicable statutes and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate terms with suppliers and coordinate with Legal and stakeholders on contract terms.
• Engage end users to gather requirements to build RFPs or contract documents.
• Closeout contracts, finalize issues, issue modifications and coordinate performance evaluations.
• Monitor contract progress and report financial, technical, or commercial difficulties to management.
• Lead cross-functional sourcing initiatives including RFPs and bids.
• Uphold Herzog’s culture and ensure regular attendance and punctuality.
• Other duties as assigned.
