Job summary

TMHCC Tokio Marine HCC in Kentucky seeks a Configuration Analyst (Contract) to design, configure, and optimize enterprise insurance platforms. You will partner with product, engineering, QA, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable, maintainable configurations that balance speed and compliance.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in configuration or business systems analysis, with SQL, JSON, APIs, and familiarity with enterprise rules engines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in application configuration, business systems analysis, software support, or related technical role.
• Experience with SQL, JSON, APIs/web services, and configurable enterprise applications.
• Experience with enterprise Rules Engines like InRule, Drools, Red Hat Decision Maker preferred.
• Insurance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain insurance products and processes across TMHCC enterprise applications.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, QA, and business stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Evaluate requests by identifying tradeoffs, dependencies, operational impacts, technical constraints, and long-term maintainability.
• Author, troubleshoot, and optimize business rules within enterprise rules engines and configurable platforms.
• Analyze complex production issues and troubleshoot data integrity concerns and Level II escalations.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to accelerate analysis, documentation, testing, troubleshooting, and delivery workflows.
• Assess and communicate risks, assumptions, and implementation impacts to stakeholders for informed decisions.
• Drive continuous improvement by simplifying processes and increasing release quality and efficiency.
