Job summary
Fidelity & Guaranty Life Insurance Company (F&G) seeks a Manager, Competitive Intelligence to support annuity and life insurance product strategy, development, and sales distribution by delivering timely, accurate competitive intelligence.
The role researches, monitors, and analyzes competitor annuity and life insurance products, pricing, positioning, distribution activity, financial strength, and market developments.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant experience in the insurance or financial services industry.
- Experience conducting competitive intelligence, market analysis, or product comparison within life insurance and annuity.
- Knowledge of life insurance and annuity products, distributors, and sales processes.
- Combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree.
- Experience using competitor filings, industry surveys, vendor data, or illustration reports is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Research, monitor, and analyze competitor annuity and life insurance products, pricing, and distribution activity.
- Produce accurate competitive intelligence resources including grids, comparisons, and presentations for leadership.
- Translate research into clear insights on opportunities, trends, and risks for product strategy.
- Present findings clearly to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Actuarial teams to address intelligence needs.
