Job summary

Fidelity & Guaranty Life Insurance Company (F&G) is seeking an Associate Actuary on the Inforce Management team to perform profitability analytics for annuity products. The role collaborates with pricing, modeling, reinsurance, and finance to analyze pricing, capital, and risk in support of management planning and product strategy.

The position involves creating analysis, updating metrics, and ensuring governance while contributing to forecasting and decision-making in a flexible, hybrid work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, actuarial science or related field; ASA preferred
• 2+ years of relevant actuarial experience
• Experience with pricing, capital, reinsurance, or financial metrics
• Familiarity with GGY AXIS or similar actuarial modeling software
• Annuity product background preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with pricing, modeling, reinsurance, and management to analyze pricing for annuity business
• Analyze product profitability and support evaluation of reinsurance agreements
• Assess and update metrics used to evaluate profitability
• Evaluate capital impacts of pricing or product decisions
• Create summaries of product profitability and support planning/forecasting
• Develop repeatable, scalable processes and documentation
• Support integration of new products and pricing updates to reporting
