Job summary

MCS Puerto Rico is seeking a compensation professional to guide and support the organization’s compensation management. You will gather salary data, analyze trends, and maintain accurate job descriptions to ensure competitive pay practices.

You will participate in salary reviews, classify jobs as exempt or nonexempt, and conduct market research for competitiveness in the health plan industry. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is required, with bilingual English/Spanish abilities helpful.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2+ years experience in compensation programs, salary structures, job analysis, or market analysis.
• Proficient in Excel; capable of formatting and analyzing data.

Responsibilities

• Gathers and organizes compensation data including salary surveys.
• Analyzes data to identify patterns and trends; prepares summary reports.
• Maintains job descriptions and ensures they reflect actual duties.
• Assists in salary review processes and classification decisions.
• Conducts market research to keep compensation competitive in health plan industry.
