Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, business, communications, corporate social responsibility, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in community investment, agriculture, business, communications, corporate social responsibility, or a related field
• Agriculture background preferred
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional deliverables and build relationships internally and externally
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities, including the ability to synthesize information into clear recommendations
• Advanced proficiency in Cybergrants, Benevity, Microsoft Office tools, especially Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook

Responsibilities

• Shape and lead community investment portfolios for assigned operating segments, providing strategic direction, trusted counsel, training and governance support from assessment through application, administration and approval.
• Own national community investment partnerships and flagship engagements, building strong external relationships, representing Nutrien at key events and delivering on activations.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members, instilling a culture of innovation, collaboration and performance excellence.
• Shift the portfolio from reactive funding to proactive‑outcomes focused investments, identifying opportunities that align community needs with Nutrien’s priorities and potential for impact.
• Help shape and champion CRI strategy, focus areas, investment priorities, tools and systems, translating direction into clear, consistent action across the business.
• Steward budgets with discipline and strengthen reporting that demonstrates portfolio reach, outcomes and value.
• Contribute to the development and communication of CRI stories.
