Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two (2) years related work experience in public information.

Responsabilités

• Supports strategic communications plans and public awareness campaigns with audience research, objectives, messages, channels, resources, and success metrics.
• Prepares clear, accurate communications—news releases, advisories, talking points, speeches, newsletters, social media, and scripts.
• Translates complex county programs and priorities into audience-focused information for public understanding and engagement.
• Gathers information to support planning and evaluates communication effectiveness using metrics, feedback, and data.
• Assists with photography, social media content creation, and planning of public events and community activities.
• Coordinates communications with departments to ensure consistent messaging aligned with County priorities.
• Responds to media and stakeholder inquiries with timely, accurate responses.
