Job summary

TFE, Inc. is seeking a Communication Specialist to join our team in the U.S. nuclear energy sector and related ventures. The role involves developing and delivering compliant and compelling external and internal communications.

You will craft content for proposals, newsletters, social media, and the company website, while coordinating with multiple departments to maintain consistent messaging and brand integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Technical Editing, Journalism or Business.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Communication Specialist, Proposal Writer, or a similar role in communications.
• Strong understanding of corporate communication principles, media relations, public relations and crisis communication strategies.
• Strong interpersonal and networking skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
• High level of creativity and strategic thinking, with the ability to develop innovative communication solutions.
• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to translate complex technical information into persuasive arguments.
• Strong organizational and project management skills to handle tight deadlines and juggle multiple projects.
• Capability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to handle confidential information with utmost integrity and discretion.
• Adeptness to work under pressure and handle crisis communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies that align with company goals.
• Manage internal and external communications for consistent messaging and brand image.
• Create and distribute content across proposals, newsletters, social media, and the website.
• Collaborate with departments to gather information and ensure timely content.
• Write, edit and proofread proposals, press releases, articles, blogs and social content.
• Manage the company's social media presence and engagement.
• Prepare internal and external documents for employees and stakeholders.
• Create external communication materials that are visually appealing.
• Plan and support corporate events and public appearances.
• Ensure proposals meet client requirements and submission guidelines.
