Job summary

General Motors LLC in the United States is seeking a Senior Business Planner to support the PVTP organization within Digital Products. The role blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution to align communications, planning, and operations with the enterprise strategy.

You will own the organizational communications rhythm, lead All People Meetings, and partner with HR, PMO, and executives to translate data into clear narratives and actionable plans across the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Communications, or related field.
• 5+ years in business planning, strategy, org communications, or operations; automotive/tech experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, data-driven problem solving with ability to translate insights into clear narratives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, storytelling and presentation skills.
• Ability to influence and collaborate with senior executives and cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute an integrated organizational communications strategy.
• Build and manage a communications calendar connecting strategy, priorities, and progress.
• Manage internal channels (email, Slack, SharePoint, Confluence) for effective messaging.
• Partner with leadership on artifacts (wins, scorecards, workforce views) to tell clear narratives.
• Own All People Meeting planning and delivery end-to-end.
• Plan and execute large-scale leadership and employee engagement events.
• Collaborate with HR and other planners on upcoming programs and growth signals.
• Translate findings into action plans from engagement surveys and insights.
