You will develop outreach strategies, lead magazine marketing, and translate complex transportation content into accessible narratives for diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or a closely related field.
• 6–10 years of progressively responsible professional experience in strategic communications, digital marketing, and public affairs.
• Proven Track Record in developing social media campaigns that increase subscriptions or readership.
• Experience in a Federal environment and knowledge of transportation research (highway/surface transportation) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute outreach strategies and promotional campaigns for multiple audiences across media outlets.
• Lead magazine marketing to increase subscriptions and digital readership, including promotions and branding.
• Generate high-quality content for social media, web pages, and electronic newsletters.
• Conduct market research and reader surveys; measure campaign effectiveness with analytics.
• Provide staffing and marketing support for events, tradeshows, and internal/external events.
• Synthesize complex transportation policy information into engaging narratives for diverse stakeholders.
