Job summary

Manhattan Strategy Group is seeking a Strategic Communication Outreach Specialist to develop and execute integrated communication strategies that promote the customer’s research and technology program and expand readership of its flagship publications.

This senior-level role blends strategic planning with hands-on content creation and stakeholder engagement, including leading campaigns across channels and supporting conferences and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in communications, marketing, PR, journalism, or related field.
• 6–10 years in strategic communications, digital marketing, and public affairs.
• Proven track record growing social media subscriptions/readership.
• Federal environment experience; transportation research preferred.
• Ability to obtain USDOT PIV credential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute outreach strategies and campaigns across audiences and channels.
• Lead marketing efforts to grow magazine subscriptions and digital readership.
• Create written and visual content for social media, web pages, and newsletters.
• Conduct market research and reader surveys; measure campaign effectiveness with analytics.
• Support tradeshows, conferences, and outreach events.
• Translate technical information into compelling narratives for varied audiences.
• Support internal communications and employee engagement initiatives.
