Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Two years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and technical support for the County's public information and communication initiatives.
• Coordinate programs to support organizational objectives, including strategic communication, media relations and multimedia production.
• May specialize across photography, print, radio, public relations, audio/visual production and conferencing.
• Advise County managers and employees regarding assigned public information programs and services.
• Synchronize communications with the County's strategic plan and long-range goals.
• Assist with program budget development, including revenue tracking and expenditure monitoring.
• Assist legislative staff to ensure agency awareness of new state and federal mandates.
• Monitor performance metrics to evaluate communication effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
• Participate in the development and implementation of Department/Division goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
