Responsibilities

• Develops and executes external communications and media relations strategies for U.S. Bank business lines to build reputation and increase awareness.
• Builds and maintains relationships with reporters.
• Stays current on internal developments, industry trends and the broader news environment to identify opportunities to increase positive visibility for U.S. Bank.
• Works closely with business leaders and communications partners to develop media strategies that support business objectives.
• Develops messaging, talking points, owned articles, press materials and other external communications.
• May lead special communications initiatives and coordinate with internal partners and external agencies as appropriate.
