Job summary

Bedrock is seeking a Communications Manager to support the development and implementation of Bedrock’s communication strategy aligned with business goals. Responsibilities include drafting communications plans, messaging, talking points, press releases, media advisories and pitches to inform, engage and secure earned media coverage.

The Manager is proactive, focused and organized with the ability to drive media relations campaigns and other communications initiatives including media monitoring

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent education, training, and experience.
• 5–10 years of public relations or related experience, ideally within commercial real estate development.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Desire to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage communications plans for Bedrock projects, initiatives, and milestones.
• Create, edit and distribute press releases, pitches, and narratives aligned with messaging.
• Conduct media outreach to secure earned press coverage.
• Cultivate media relationships with local, regional, and national outlets.
• Lead planning, execution and promotion of PR events; provide on-site support as needed.
• Coordinate speaking engagements and award submissions.
• Monitor and report Bedrock media coverage.
