The role requires capital markets or investment banking communications experience, strong writing, and the ability to guide leadership messaging in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time, on-site position in New York.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent in communications, finance, journalism or PR.
• 7+ years in corporate/financial communications or PR.
• Ability to translate sophisticated content into accessible messaging.
• Experience developing multi-channel communication strategies for senior leaders.
• Proven media relations experience with financial press.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated communications strategies in support of Citi Markets.
• Translate complex finance themes into clear narratives for media, clients and colleagues.
• Lead proactive and reactive media relations and position leaders as market authorities.
• Set social media content strategies for business leaders and amplify thought leadership.
• Draft media pitches, press releases, talking points, scripts, and client narratives.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to align communications with business objectives and regulatory needs.
• Identify reputational risks and craft innovative risk-management communications.
• Manage issues and crisis communications; measure impact with qualitative and quantitative insights.
