Job summary
Snap Inc. is seeking a Communications Manager to join the Communications Team in Los Angeles. You will develop proactive messaging for Snapchat products, monetize programs, and partnerships, translating complex updates into clear narratives for media and creators.
You will lead agency partners, collaborate across Product, Creator Partnerships, Content, Marketing, Legal, and Policy, and craft communications that drive Snap’s cultural relevance and creator ecosystem.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in communications, public relations, product communications, or related field.
- Experience developing comms strategies for consumer tech products or platforms.
- Ability to translate complex product updates into clear messaging for media and partners.
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead proactive communications and storytelling for Snapchat products and features.
- Translate product updates into clear messaging for media, creators, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Lead external agency partners to support media strategy and execution.
- Support comms across content and partnerships, identifying compelling storytelling opportunities.
- Draft press materials, FAQs, briefing documents, media pitches and internal communications.
- Organize press briefings, product demos, media opportunities, and executive interviews.
