Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communication or related field or equivalent experience.
• Five (5) years of communications strategy development.
• Content writing for all media platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Works well under pressure and meets deadlines.
• Proficient with MS Office products, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, 365, and SharePoint.
• Ability to pass a background and drug screening and Alaska Native Corporation/government contracting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing and communication strategy that includes media outreach and social media content creation.
• Research and create content for the company website, social media platforms, newsletters, and other company publications.
• Maintain a detailed knowledge of the company’s policies, principles, and strategies, and keep up-to-date with relevant developments.
• Manage the company’s style guide, and ensure all company documents and publications adhere to our branding.
• Work with key internal role-players to brainstorm content ideas, in line with the company’s strategy and in support of various brand initiatives.
• Support and evaluate results of communication campaigns with the team.
• Performs incidental tasks related to the position as well as various duties, as assigned, to support the overall objectives/goals of the team while maintaining a positive attitude.
