Job summary

Huna Totem Corporation is seeking a Director, Consumer Marketing & Corporate Communications to lead branding, PR and internal/external communications for direct-to-consumer brands and government contracting arms.

You will orchestrate cross-functional campaigns, develop messaging, manage media relations, and guide shareholder communications in a fully remote Alaska role with travel to events and media engagements. The role demands strategic vision and top-tier writing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
• Experience managing media relations.
• Experience in or willingness to learn government contracting communications landscape.
• Alaska Native Corporation, tribal, or Indigenous-owned business experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead consumer marketing, communications, and public relations for multiple brands.
• Develop marketing and communication plans and messaging tailored to each audience.
• Manage media relations and press opportunities for consumer businesses.
• Partner with leadership to ensure consistent brand voice across business lines.
• Drive integrated campaigns to generate leads and bookings across brands.
