The Atlanta University Center (AUC) Robert W. Woodruff Library is seeking a Communications Manager to serve as the library's lead storyteller and communications strategist.

The role develops and manages content across digital, print, social media, and web platforms to advance priorities and highlight impact. As supervisor of the Graphic Designer and Social Media Specialist, you will guide strategic messaging, branding, and stakeholder engagement while measuring communications outcomes for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, PR, or related field.
• Five years of communications experience in a library, museum, or nonprofit with executive communications, media relations, publications, events, and brand stewardship.
• Demonstrated high-quality written communication and strong project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Strategic storytelling and communications across publications and channels.
• Brand management and marketing to raise awareness and engagement.
• Oversee digital content across web, social, and multimedia platforms.
