Job summary

Vantor is seeking a Strategic Communications Specialist in Reston, VA to support SAP reporting for DoD/Congress. You will work with government and company staff to plan, draft, edit, and coordinate communications, develop SOPs, and manage graphics for technical material.

You must have TS/SCI with CI poly, a degree in communications or related field, and 5 years of DoD/IC experience. The role demands precise writing, strong collaboration, and ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-stakes

Qualifications

• Must have active TS/SCI security clearance with a CI Polygraph.
• Degree in communications, business administration or similar discipline.
• 5 years’ experience performing communications management/strategy work in the DoD / IC, and writing SOPs.
• Significant experience in communications strategy / management techniques.
• Experience in graphic design and content management.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
• Expert knowledge and use of Adobe Pro, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, review, and edit graphics and content of scientific, technical, and programmatic material.
• Write SOPs to further the government customer’s communication strategy.
• Research, build, and execute all aspects of the customer’s communication strategy.
• Write concepts of operations and operational support projects.
• Help author new procedures/methods to create innovative communication plans/strategies.
• Support SAP reporting to DoD and Congress with polished communications.
