Job summary

Vantor is seeking a Strategic Communications Specialist to support a DoD SAP program. The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph and a track record in communications management within DoD/IC environments.

You will craft and coordinate executive communications, coordinate reports, and shape the customer’s messaging across government stakeholders, including planning and editing graphics and SOPs to support mission objectives.

Qualifications

• Must have active TS/SCI security clearance with CI Polygraph.
• 5 years’ experience performing communications management/strategy work in the DoD / IC.
• Experience in graphic design and content management.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
• Expert knowledge and use of Adobe Pro, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Support the government in planning, drafting, editing, coordinating, tracking and ensuring completion of tasks on schedule for annual SAP reporting to DoD, Congress and other Government agencies.
• Be a vital member of a multi-disciplined team embedded with government and Vantor staff.
• Provide expert advice on SAP reporting to DoD and Congress affecting the mission; deliver polished communications to stakeholders.
• Integrate senior level correspondence, briefings, reports and papers for executive audiences; create drafts for senior review.
• Plan, coordinate, review, and edit graphics and content of scientific, technical, and programmatic material.
• Research, build, and execute all aspects of the customer’s communication strategy; write concepts of operations and SOPs.
