The Digital Development Project seeks an Associate Director of Communications for a remote/hybrid role based in the Chicago area. The ideal candidate will lead communications, newsletters, and social media, while collaborating with the Artistic Director, Managing Director, and program teams.

Responsibilities include brand management, targeted messaging, and digital content strategy. It is a part-time hourly contract with a rolling start, beginning with three months.

Qualifications

• Professional English-language writing and editing skills.
• Experience in marketing, public relations or communications domains.
• Ability to work with digital platforms and design tools.
• Comfort working in remote/hybrid environments with cross-functional teams.

Responsabilités

• Lead development and execution of public-facing communications strategies.
• Manage newsletters, marketing emails, social media, and website presence.
• Oversee brand management, messaging, and tone across channels.
• Collaborate with artistic leadership and program directors on communications priorities.
• Create clear copy and image descriptions for campaigns and fundraising.
• Track engagement metrics and report on audience growth and reach.
