Life.Church is seeking a Strategic Communications Manager to shape the voice of YouVersion through organizational narrative and messaging. This role partners with the Chief Communications Officer to steward consistency and prepare content for high-visibility moments under the Sr.

Director of Public Relations. You will develop and refine key narratives, draft outlines and scripts, and coordinate with internal stakeholders to keep content on schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Bachelor's Degree in Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field required.
• 5+ years of related work experience including communications and speechwriting preferred.
• Demonstrated track record in communications, speechwriting, or public relations.

Responsibilities

• Develop outlines, scripts, and reference materials for speaking engagements.
• Steward voice, tone, and messaging standards across content.
• Support message development for sensitive or high-visibility topics.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to keep content on schedule.
• Maintain a library of voice references and approved messaging.
• Verify key organizational stats and figures before external use.
• Equip leaders with consistent messaging across speaking and internal channels.
