Job summary

The Boeing Company seeks a Senior Communications Specialist to lead the PES subdivision communications strategy and execute nested program plans. You will serve as the primary communications advisor to the PES VP and leadership, coordinating with the SIWS team to ensure cohesive messaging and integrated execution.

You will translate complex technical information into clear narratives, manage media relations, and deliver compelling content across channels, while coordinating with stakeholders

Qualifications

• Progressive communications experience with 10+ years in related fields.
• Experience leading strategy and plans for corporate communications.
• Experience advising senior leaders (VP/Director level).
• Experience leading cross-functional communications in matrixed orgs.
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling across formats.
• Experience with media relations, pitching, and inquiries.
• Ability to translate complex technical topics into clear narratives.
• Experience mentoring other communications professionals.

Responsibilities

• Lead PES subdivision communications strategy and nested program plans.
• Advise the PES VP and leadership, coordinating with SIWS managers.
• Counsel portfolio leaders and partners; work with BD, eng, ops, HR, legal.
• Plan media relations, crisis communications, and training for leaders.
• Create and deliver high-quality content across channels.
• Manage milestones, workflows, messaging, and event support.
• Coordinate a network of communications partners and external resources.
• Engage with government customers and external partners as appropriate.
• Maintain Huntsville site communications alignment with PES Portfolio.
