This role develops and implements a comprehensive communication strategy for the UCC, promotes the center through social media, digital content, and experiences, and supervises students creating content.

Duties include managing promotion across social media and print resources, coordinating with Employer Services, and supporting events.

Qualifications

• Experience developing communication strategy for an organization with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience creating web content, videos, graphics, and/or text for social media and digital contexts (emails, newsletters, webpages).
• Experience with project management and supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a network of professionals to deliver impactful messages.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy for the department.
• Promote the UCC in social media, digital content, and experiences; measure impact.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate undergraduate students on the media team.
• Lead discussions to assess promotional needs and share updates; represent UCC at events.
• Build a network with university, local, and regional contacts to promote UCC services.
