Job summary

Los Alamos National Laboratory seeks a Communications and Knowledge Management Program Manager to lead the overall communications strategy for ALDW-PIO and coordinate WESJ, FUTURES, and RESSQ initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires organizing events, managing documentation, and ensuring confidentiality of peer-review processes while engaging with internal and external stakeholders. Onsite in Los Alamos, NM.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail with ability to manage multiple communication streams
• Experience developing and nurturing internal and external relationships
• Ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences and contribute to documentation
• Experience leading communications projects and initiatives
• Experience with content management tools and systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Coordinate WESJ, FUTURES, and RESSQ initiatives and align with ALDW priorities
• Organize quarterly symposia and act as central communication hub for unclassified and classified networks
• Ensure timely, accurate information is provided to technical writers, presenters, and reviewers
• Develop and execute communication strategies in support of ALDW-PIO focus areas
• Support knowledge capture and sharing frameworks within Weapons Engineering
