Job summary

HDR is seeking a Communications Specialist to join the Resources Business Group Communications team. You will help develop and execute best-in-class internal and external communications programs that strengthen HDR’s brand, reinforce our values, and elevate our reputation across the power, industrial and waste markets.

Leveraging strong communications project coordination skills, you’ll create high-impact content, coordinate HDR’s biennial internal conference, and deliver a memorable employee

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a communications field (social media, event planning, community engagement, marketing, etc.)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently with multiple teams as well as in a team
• Strong interpersonal skills and positive attitude
• Comfortable working with senior leaders and cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated ability to balance strategic and tactical work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Drive the planning and execution of the biennial internal conference for the RBG
• Manage communications database information and web-based project tools (e.g., Adobe, SharePoint, staging sites, logs)
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and subject matter experts to develop engaging content reflecting HDR’s brand across markets
• Develop engaging internal communications content (announcements, presentations, videos, webinars)
• Organize and evaluate analytics from multiple sources (e.g., Google Analytics, social platforms) to inform content strategy
• Perform other duties as needed
