Job summary

HDR is seeking a Communications Specialist to join the Resources Business Group (RBG) Communications team in Charlotte, NC. You will develop and execute internal and external communications programs that strengthen HDR’s brand, drive thought leadership, and support business objectives.

You’ll coordinate the biennial internal conference, manage databases and web-based project tools, and collaborate with engineers, designers and subject matter experts to craft engaging bios, project stories,

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of industry experience.
Experience in social media, event planning, community engagement.
Preferred: 5+ years of industry expertise; comfortable working across multiple time zones as part of a virtual team.

Responsibilities

Drive the planning and execution of RBG’s biennial internal conference.
Manage communications database information and web-based project management tools (e.g., Adobe, SharePoint).
Work with engineers, architects, designers and other subject matter experts to develop engaging content that reflects HDR’s brand across the power, industrial and waste markets.
Develop engaging internal communications content (e.g., announcements, presentations, videos, live meetings and webinars)
Organize and evaluate analytics from multiple sources (e.g., Google Analytics, social media platforms) to inform content strategy
Perform other duties as needed
