Job summary

University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, CO seeks a Communications and Events Specialist to lead the development and execution of integrated communications and strategic events that advance the College of Osteopathic Medicine’s identity, visibility, and engagement with key audiences.

Reporting to the Associate Dean of Admissions and Student Affairs, the role manages content creation, intranet and website updates, social media, and end-to-end event planning to support recruitment, faculty

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; substitution: additional relevant experience can replace the degree on a year-for-year basis.
• Four years’ work experience in a related field is required.
• Experience with website design or updating pages is preferred.
• Basic graphic design, marketing materials, photography, video, or audio production skills are a plus.
• Substitution: additional education may substitute for required experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute internal communications to engage faculty, staff, and students.
• Create and maintain intranet and content for newsletters, websites, and announcements.
• Plan and coordinate college events, including signature ceremonies and outreach activities.
• Collaborate with marketing and admissions teams to align messaging with branding.
• Evaluate events and messaging effectiveness and propose improvements.
