Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, PR, journalism, or related field.
• Experience in a communications role, preferably political or nonprofit.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong media relations and understanding of the media landscape.
• Experience in strategic planning across multiple platforms.
• Ability to manage crisis communications under pressure.
• Digital marketing experience including content creation and social media.
• Strong project management and leadership abilities.
• Budget development and fiscal management experience.
• Knowledge of current political issues and conservative ideology.
• Right to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies.
• Lead creation of press releases, digital media, newsletters, and statements.
• Manage the communications team for productivity and timely outputs.
• Maintain media lines and oversee media campaigns and interviews.
• Collaborate with leaders to align messaging with policy positions.
• Monitor, report, and adjust strategies based on results.
• Represent the organization at events as spokesperson.
• Maintain crisis communications plan and lead PR responses.
• Guide digital marketing to enhance online presence.
• Coordinate with campaigns and party orgs for message consistency.
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Educate leaders on public speaking and media best practices.
• Oversee annual communications budget.
• Update communications policies and guidelines.
